Rosedale State School's student services team is supported by a Guidance Officer, Youth Support Co-ordinator, Chaplain, a School-Based Youth Health Nurse, and a Youth Support Officer.
Supportive parenting is the most significant source of student wellbeing, however outside the home, our school provides services in a confidential setting to students and their families when challenges arise.
Our Chaplaincy Service (PDF, 51KB) has long been an integral aspect of our approach to supporting students.
Guidance Officers are employed by the Department of Education. They work directly with students, their teachers, parents and other professionals. Guidance Officers are registered teachers with appropriate post graduate qualifications in career and personal counselling.
This support service can help students in several different areas, including personal life, academic life and work life.
There is currently one Guidance Officer at Rosedale State School: P-12 Campus. Their office is located in the Administration Building and appointments can be made through the main office counter.
