​Rosedale State School and our school community share the vision 'Preparing Today for Life Tomorrow' through instilling within our students the values of; Be Safe, Be Responsible and Be Respectful.

We believe that a common, consistent and evidence-based approach to teaching and learning is vital to ensuring that the learning outcomes for all students are maximised. We believe that the foundation of learning is centred upon building caring relationships between students, parents and staff. Embedded in this foundation of positive relationships is our shared belief that every student, parent and staff member is unique and brings with them a rich cultural background and an array of unique characteristics and strengths which are valued and celebrated by the school community. We commit to the mantra of 'Every Student Succeeding'.

We believe our Kindergarten plays a vital role in supporting our community's youngest learners. We provide a flying start to their educational journey by providing a safe, supportive, nurturing, engaging, child-centred and play-based learning environment. We believe that a child's first teachers are their parents, and as such we believe in a collaborative approach to supporting early childhood development where parents are actively involved in the decision making processes and program development that occurs within the Kindergarten.

At Rosedale State School everyone is a part of a richly diverse and collaborative team. We are committed to working together in order to support and enhance the learning of every student, every day. We believe that, together, we can ensure that all students experience success while striving to be the best that they can be.
