Having been established in the community for over one hundred years, Rosedale State School has a mixture of both old and new buildings that add to the character of the site. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • a modern resource centre

  • a marine and aquatics shed

  • army cadets shed

  • modern science labs

  • a laptop program in secondary and banks of computers and i-pads in primary

  • a trade training centre - hospitality and manual arts

  • a dedicated student services block

  • a separate primary precinct

  • 6 secondary teaching blocks

  • a tuckshop

Some outdoor facilities include:

  • an undercover multi-purpose court for sports such as netball, basketball and tennis

  • extensive grounds, including two ovals

  • two adventure playgrounds with sandpits

  • an indigenous garden

Overall, the landscaped gardens and outdoor are​as, inhand with the covered play and eating areas, provide the perfect backdrop for teaching and learning.
