Welcome to all our new recruits this year, we look forward to a long partnership. We have enrolled sixteen in total. Unit Strength 35 Cadets & 3 Officers.
The year was kicked off with an Exercise for all cadets who hold rank from Corporal(CPL) to Cadet Under Officers(CUO) at Monto early in March. Senior Cadets and Officers were invited to take part in a Dining-in-night where all were dress in their Ceremonial Dress and shown the finer side of Military Protocol. The evening was used as a lesson in table edict and talked through the events of the evening. They were given the procedure and reasons for every event that took place.
Recently we saw ourselves back at Monto with most of the new Recruits. Listening to the conversations coming home or in some cases the lack of noise our aim was achieved.
During the camp we had the privilege of a Media representative from Cadet Headquarters in Canberra visit us and was kept busy photographing many of our cadets in action and interviewed the females from Rosedale Cadet Unit because in the ten years we’ve been active our Unit is still to date the only Unit that each year has more females enrolled than any other Unit in Australia.
